I had a wonderful experience with Top Rock Masonry and strongly recommend them. I needed to have a repair on a retaining wall next to my pool that had several cracked bricks, cracked mortar joints, and needed stitch-fix masonry repair. This method is used to stabilize cracked walls using flexible stainless-steel bars placed into the mortar joints. I had a very hard time to find masonry contractors that knew what I was talking about. Matt’s quote was reasonable, and fair compared to others. All contractors are not equal. Matt showed a thorough knowledge of how to do stitch-fixing. Some masons I had to explain what stitch fixing was, and how to install the stainless-steel bars. Matt’s team did a wonderful job removing the degraded, cracked joints and tooth out several cracked bricks. Matt’s team did a wonderful job matching the existing brick that needed to be replaced and matching the existing mortar joints. Matt’s team also installed a veneer brick over my exposed footer where the concrete deck to my pool had dropped below the retaining wall. The team took two days to complete my work and cleaned up the work area everyday before leaving. – November 2025, Ernst

From start to finish, they managed the project professionally and efficiently. They offered great suggestions along the way and added thoughtful design details that elevated the finished patio beyond what I had imagined. They also did the landscaping and added color changing lighting around the patio, and that turned out just as beautifully — they were great at it!

Was fortunate to spot one of Top Rock Masonry’s real estate signs about 2 miles from our house. Our job was small… just a stoop that was separating from our house and a walkway that was cracking and needed to be widened. Top Rock has many large scale jobs, but I truly felt that our two day project felt as important to them as any other. I was especially impressed with their perseverance when they discovered that our stoop and walkway had about three times more concrete beneath it than they expected (explained why it was separating from the house). I also appreciated that even though we weren’t looking to spend a ton on this fix, Craig suggested some details that improved the aesthetics without having to go with pavers or other pricey add-ons. – October 2025, Christy
We had a wonderful experience working with Craig and Top Rock Masonry. They updated the top half of our chimney that was previously stucco to create a beautiful stone veneer matching the 100-year old stone on the bottom half. Since our chimney is front and center on our house, this update is an incredible improvement to our curb appeal. We hired Craig and his team to build us a flagstone patio on a concrete bed using the existing concrete steps off the back of our house. They did an amazing job! Watching he process, I was in awe of the skills and energy required to do this work correctly. It was quite a process! The guys showed up every day as promised and worked full throttle until the job was completed. Craig did an excellent job matching the stone veneer (for the concrete steps) with the stone in our house. Job site was left clean and tidy evert day. Completed project is gorgeous. I recently had work done and they did a fantastic job. They gave me an extended patio, new kitchen steps and a path and steps going all the way down the side of my house to the driveway. Craig had some good ideas and his work completely exceeded my expectations. His men were friendly, polite and clean. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs cement work done. Needed our chimney repaired and re-stuccoed, wanted to support a local business and found Top Rock Masonry. I followed their work for a while and saw the care they put into each job. They just finished our chimney and it looks better than new. Craig and his team were on time and respectful of our property. The worksite was cleaned at the end of each day. Great work. They shortened my side door patio and overlaid it with Flagstone. It looks 1000% better than just a plain concrete. When the job was done, they cleaned up so well that you wouldn’t even know they were here, except for the great new patio.

I needed to fix my sidewalk for a township ordinance and Craig was doing work for one of my neighbors. I called. He answered the phone and my sidewalk was fixed the same day. He went to the township building and took care of physically getting the permit for me and everything. I’ve had bad luck with contractors before. I highly recommend [Top Rock Masonry.]
